SanDisk Security 1.0

SanDisk Security is a companion application for select SanDisk external drives that enables password protection backed by 256-bit AES hardware encryption. It lets you quickly lock and unlock your drive and manage security settings on Windows and macOS.

Key features:

• Enable or disable password protection on supported SanDisk drives
• Lock/unlock the drive and change your password or password hint
• Optional auto-unlock on trusted computers
• Uses built-in, drive-level encryption so your data remains protected even if the drive is removed
• Simple, guided setup and a clean, easy-to-use interface

Notes:

• If you forget your password, the data on the drive cannot be recovered; a secure erase/reset will be required.
